We're leaving!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's true. We're leaving on Saturday and on Monday I get my daughter back in my arms. I can't believe it. I'm all jumpy. LOL

So, please. Now is the time to help out. Donate a few $ to the kids that I'm leaving behind. I'll buy diapers and anything else they need. Warm clothes is important to. So, I beg of you. A few dollars makes a HUGE difference for the kids that are left behind. Get into Christmas spirit and donate. ChipIn is on the left.

Donations

This is what it looks like in some orphanages in Bulgaria. (Of course, in other countries in the world too) I know it's simple to just turn it off and think "it's too hard for me to watch". Yeah, well, I bet they wish they could just turn it off too.

I'm hoping that seeing how some of the children are being treated, and how they live, will make more people help. I'm only one person going to Bulgaria to pick up my daughter. But I will donate as much as I can (Not cash but diapers, clothes or other things the children need) If you have to possibility to help the kids that I have to leave behind. Please donate through the chipin on the right. I will buy anything the orphanage needs, or if there's something you want your money to be used for.

It's almost time

We're through court in Bulgaria, and that means it's almost time to go pick up my little girl. Finally. Now we're just waiting for the last email or phonecall. That it's time to go.
I've gotten so many clothes for the orphanage. One suitcase is full and if there's room in the others, we'll put some clothes there too.

There's really not room for more clothes now, since we don't have much space left in the luggage. So, if anyone else wants to donate, I think I need to buy that in Bulgaria.

So, if you want to donate. Contribute to the Chipin on the right side here. I'll buy what the orphanage needs. Last time it was diapers. If you want me to buy something special, just let me know and I will use it for that.

And again. Thank you to everyone that has donated. It really means a lot. <3

To sum up how I feel

They say the wait is 2-4 months. It's been 2,5 now. So, keep your fingers crossed that they'll call soon.

Any donations we get will be used for what ever the orphanage needs most. If you want to donate for something special, just email me or write a comment about it here.

Thank you for every donation. The support has been amazing.

Waiting

I miss my little girl. Her eyes. Her smile. Her scent. Everything. I just want her here with me. It's been less than a month and it's probably going to be 3 more before I get to pick her up. I don't know how I'm going to make it.

Thank you so much for your donations. It means so much to me and I'm planning on buying more diapers or whatever the orphanage needs the next time I get there.

Keep your fingers crossed that I'll be allowed to go get her soon.

If you want to help, but can't donate

We all know it's not always easy to donate money for something. But, there are a lot of other things you can do to help.

First of all, you can copy the "Chipin" on the right here and put it on your blog. Getting more people to see it helps a lot.

If you have something you could donate, we could have an auction, or maybe a competition. That would be great too.

And if doing nothing seems like something you can or want to do, that's just fine too. Everyone can't help everywhere, all the time.

Thank you all for your contributions.

Donations

Thank you so much for donating. While we were in Bulgaria we bought diapers that the orphanage needed. The taxi driver was a bit confused when he realized how many packs of diapers we wanted to get into the car. We were sitting in the backseat, all covered in packs of diapers. I'm pretty sure the staff at the store and the taxi driver will remember us forever.

I'll be going to pick up my baby girl as soon as I'm allowed. So, please keep donating and I'll get them what they need the next time I'm there too. We're also going to try to get more clothes for the children. They desperatly need it.
If you have clothes to donate, you have to send them to me, and I'll pay for the shipping, or bring them with me when I go.
